1642 Gimme Zaatar

Ingredients 

  • 1 oz. lime juice (one whole lime)
  • 1 oz of zaatar syrup
  • Tonic 1642
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber
  • 1 line of zaatar

Preparation:

  1. Fill an old fashion glass with ice
  2. Add lime juice and zaatar syrup
  3. Top with tonic and stir
  4. Garnish with four Lebanese cucumber slices in a fan shape
  5. Sprinkle with a thin line of zaatar

For the Zaatar Syrup (1.5 liter):

  1. Mix 1 L of water, 1 kg of sugar and 1 cup of zaatar.
  2. Let infuse for 24 hours.
  3. Then filter finely.
