Bouquet Floral is a cocktail that evokes the elegance and complexity of a garden in full bloom. Botanical and fruity notes mingle to create a refreshing taste experience.
At the heart of this creation is Immortelle Gin from Distillerie Cap-aux-Péchés. This Quebec gin, with its evocative name, provides a rich, aromatic base. It incorporates distinctive floral notes. Triple Sec Les Îles then adds a touch of sweet citrus and a slight bitterness, typical of orange liqueurs. Its role is to balance the aromatic profile, bringing a fruity roundness that blends well with the gin's botanical and floral notes.
Fresh lemon juice adds the necessary acidity to the blend to balance the sweetness of the Monin simple syrup and Hibiscus syrup. Hibiscus syrup brings vibrant color and distinct floral notes, slightly tart and fruity, reminiscent of red berries. Basil leaves introduce a fresh, slightly aniseed herbaceous dimension. Basil has an uncanny ability to enhance citrus flavors and pair well with botanical gins.
Finally, the light Tonic 1642 lengthens the cocktail, adding delicate effervescence and a hint of subtle bitterness. The blueberry skewer garnish and basil head are not just aesthetically pleasing. The blueberries add an extra fruity touch, while the basil head offers an aromatic fragrance with every approach to the glass.
