London Baby

London Baby

This bright red cocktail from mixologist Fanny Gauthier has everything to please with its citrus flavours and the acidity from the cranberry-raspberry juice. It also contains orgeat syrup, a drink made with almond milk and orange blossom water, and it's layered with a Quebec tonic.

Ingredients

  • 15 mL (0.5 oz) lemon juice
  • 15 mL (0.5 oz) orgeat syrup
  • 15 mL (0.5 oz) Cointreau
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 15 mL (1.5 oz) Old Lady gin
  • 60 mL (2 oz) cranberry-raspberry juice
  • 60 ml (2 oz) tonic 1642

Preparation:

  1. Place all ingredients except tonic in a shaker.
  2. Add ice and stir vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
  3. Strain with a cocktail strainer into an old fashioned glass.
  4. Add ice cubes and lengthen the cocktail with tonic.
  5. Stir lightly with a mixing spoon to make the cocktail more homogeneous.

Decoration idea: Tap a beautiful sprig of rosemary and place in the glass.

Cheers!
