Ingredients
- 2 oz of Saga Distillery gin @distillerie_grand_derangement
- ¼ oz. almond syrup
- ½ oz. fresh juice from one lime
- 1 dash of @amer_kebek walnut bitter
- ¼ oz. cold-brewed coffee
- 1642 Tonic
Preparation:
- In a shaker filled with ice cubes, put:
- Saga gin,
- almond syrup,
- lime juice
- and the walnut bitter.
- Pour into an old fashioned glass filled with ice cubes.
- Lengthen with the 1642 Tonic
- Pour the coffee gently into the glass and shake gently with a spoon.
Almond syrup:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- ⅓ cup almonds in thin strips
- ⅛ tsp. almond essence
Preparation:
- Put the sugar and water in a saucepan over low heat with the almonds.
- Bring to a simmer. Let cool, strain and add almond essence.
