Olive oil can be an exciting ingredient to work with in cocktails, both for its taste and texture. The aromatic profiles of extra virgin olive oil are manifold and influence its application. As a result, you can create astonishing combinations and exploit infinite aromatic subtleties. For this recipe, we used Maison Orphée's balanced organic extra virgin olive oil, which has a delicate aroma of tomato stems and a velvety taste of ripe olives. Its bitterness is marked, but its ardor is moderate; hence its name "équilibrée".

Ingredients

  • 1 oz of coffee (espresso)
  • 5 oz HP juniper gin without alcohol
  • 1 teaspoon of organic extra virgin olive oil - Balanced, Maison Orphée
  • 1 teaspoon of olive brine
  • 1642 Tonic
  • Topping: Green olive

Preparation:

  1. Pour all ingredients except Tonic 1642 into a shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  3. Strain into a glass over ice.
  4. Extend with Tonic 1642.
  5. Garnish with an olive

Cheers!
