Douce Brise du Lac is a unique cocktail that refers to Lac Saint-Jean and its legendary lake. This subtle, well-balanced blend combines the elegance of Beemer vodka from Distillerie Beemer with the unique character of Amermelade, produced by Spiritueux d'Iberville.
Beemer vodka offers a silky texture, while Amermelade adds fruity, slightly bitter nuances reminiscent of citrus zest. Lime juice adds acidity, while syrups balance the mix. The mango and cinnamon flavors create an interesting link. The mango syrup lends a tropical sweetness, while the cinnamon syrup brings a rich, spicy warmth. Two dashes of orange Angostura complete the blend, adding spicy nuances.
The cocktail ends on a sparkling note thanks to the addition of 1642 Light Tonic . The starfruit slice is not only an aesthetic garnish, but also a visual reminder of the exotic profile of the mango, while the blueberry skewer adds a final fruity touch, reminiscent of the Lac Saint-Jean region.
