The Mélodie Boréale cocktail relies on two exceptional spirits and carefully chosen ingredients to create such a surprising harmony of flavors. The cocktail begins with Mugo Gin from Distillerie Mitis, a handcrafted Quebec gin whose signature is the distinctive presence of mountain pine. This gin combines resinous, slightly spicy notes with a freshness reminiscent of the wilderness. To this gin is added a subtle touch of Luxardo Maraschino, an Italian liqueur with fruity, slightly sweet and complex accents.
Lemon juice translates acidic flavors, while melilot and blueberry syrups create floral, herbaceous and fruity notes. The melilot syrup is made from the botanical sparkling water produced by Harrington Beverages. It's a truly exquisite syrup. The light tonic 1642 contributes to the blend's lightness and effervescence. Finally, the garnish consists of a skewer of blackberries and pineapple chunks combined with a mint leaf.
