Sweet Cantaloupe 1642

Ingredients 

  • cantaloupe pieces
  • juice of half a lime (approx. 0.5 oz)
  • 2 oz of Romeo X romeo's gin flavoured with melon
  • 0.5 oz of simple syrup
  • tonic Yuzu 1642
  • ice

Preparation:

  1. Cut pieces of cantaloupe and crush them in a shaker with a pestle and mortar... or, squeeze the pieces in a juicer to extract the juice.
  2. Add to shaker:
    • lime juice
    • Gin Romeo
    • simple syrup
    • ice
  3. Shake the shaker well and pour into a stemmed glass through a strainer. Add fresh ice cubes.
  4. Thin with 1642 YUZU and stir lightly to homogenize the cocktail.
  5. Garnish with a cantaloupe skewer on a pick and a bunch of fresh mint.
