Ingredients
For the secret homemade blueberry juice syrup:
- 250 mL (1 cup) Patience Fruit & Co wild blueberry juice
- 250 mL (1 cup) sugar
For gin tonic:
- 1 1/2 oz of gin
- 1/2 oz. homemade blueberry secret syrup
- 3 oz of Tonic 1642
- Thin slices of lime (for decoration)
Preparation:
For the secret homemade blueberry juice syrup:
- In a saucepan,
- Pour in the wild blueberry juice and sugar.
- Heat over low heat until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Allow to cool completely in the refrigerator (syrup can be stored up to 2 months in the refrigerator in an airtight bottle)
For gin tonic:
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Add gin and homemade syrup to blueberry juice.
- Mix with a bar spoon.
- Finish with tonic and garnish with a lime wedge.
