Thyme inspires summer... heat! Add a handful of Lac St-Jean blueberries and it's a one-way trip to the lakeside to sip your Gin Tonic! The hint of thyme adds a touch of bitterness that goes perfectly with 1642 Tonic Léger. We've gone easy on the sugar, to get the most out of the Gin's aromas.
1642 gin recommendation We've gone for "London Dry" gins, which are a little drier on the palate and go well with a tonic low in sugar. Our choices: Côte des Saints Premium, Comont, Supersonic.
Ingredients
- 1⅔ oz. gin(Coast of Saints Premium, Comont, Supersonic)
- 1642 Light Tonic water
- A small handful of blueberries
- A few sprigs of thyme
Preparation:
- Pour the gin into a wide highball glass
- Add 1642 Tonic Léger
- Add blueberries and thyme.
- Mix gently.
Tip: you can also crush the blueberries at the bottom of the glass and add the gin afterwards. :)
