Ingredients
- 2 oz Chic Choc rum, iced
- 1/2 cup 1642 Maple Cola
- 1 lime
- 3 tbsp. mint, fresh
- 1/3 cup sugar, white or coconut
- Ice
Preparation (syrup):
- In a saucepan, dissolve sugar over medium heat in 1/2 cup water.
- Once the syrup has come to the boil, stir well, lower the heat and add the lime juice and zest.
- Leave to stand for 5 minutes
- add the fresh mint and forget about it for another 5 minutes.
- Strain and refrigerate.
Preparation (cocktail):
- Fill a tall glass with ice, then add the rum, syrup and cola.
- Garnish with sliced lime and serve. Cheers!
