This cocktail name doesn't refer to lemon basil, which is an herb, but rather because the flavors of basil and lemon are present through the ingredients in the mix.
Ingredients
- 1.25 oz Gin Lime Basilic Distillerie 3 Lacs
- 1 oz Limoncello Distillerie de Cap-Chat
- 1 oz Lemon juice
- 1 oz Basil syrup
- Emulsifier
- 4 to 5 basil leaves
- Tonic 1642 Léger
- Basil leaf garnish
Preparation:
- Place all ingredients in the base of a shaker, except the Tonic
- Fill with ice and shake the mixture
- Double-strain into the base of a shaker
- Add the emulsifier and make a dry shake
- Pour into a cooled bowl containing 2 oz of tonic 1642 light
- Decorate with a basil leaf
